I have been honoured to be working for one of the best institutions in my local area – Solent University, Southampton. The marketing team commissioned me to freshen up their brand imagery throughout the campus and beyond. They tasked me with capturing real students, throughout the city, in strong, confident and natural poses to inspire and connect with current and prospective students alike.
It has been an absolute pleasure to meet and photograph a hugely diverse group of talented young people who each brought their style to the shoots. It’s easy to see that their personalities have shone through and are now displayed all over the incredible campus – from ceilings in the giant halls to inside offices, on doors and billboards – they look fantastic.
I doubt I will ever lose the buzz you get when I see a photo you’ve taken blown up and strapped to the size of a building, a building that thousands drive and walk past it every day – especially when it’s on my home turf, it is fantastic.
