Working with the legendary Shelina Permalloo from my hometown, patron of Lakaz Maman, was a joy from start to finish. Winner of the hotly contested BBC Masterchef, Shelina went on to open her own restaurant in Southampton, sell her own produce as well as write some amazing cookbooks!
I got involved to create portrait shots for a local business magazine, set in the restaurant which has a brilliant feel to it. I hope you agree that they turned out perfectly, Shelina’s personality bursts through the photos and there’s no mistaking the cuisine she champions.
